Make the initial step and our agency will arrange everything necessary.
We provide year round support and assistance with the application process to help choose the right school for your children in UK based schools. The UK study abroad experience can last the whole academic year, half a year, or just a few months.
At the end of the stay, students can accomplish a British GCSE / A level certificate, opening doors to prestigious universities within or outside of the UK.
As part of our services, we also offer short-term stays and intensive language courses in Oxford, specifically designed to help you prepare for admission to secondary schools and universities.
IntoOxford agency is based in Oxfordshire. We benefit from and pride ourselves on knowing the local educational environment well. While working with clients, we draw from our experiences from studying abroad and focus on what is essential.
We do not offer instant standardised solutions. We approach each client individually and with maximum care. Our goal is for students to adapt smoothly to the new environment and to thrive in their studies, and at the same time allow the parents to have peace of mind. In case of emergencies or arising issues, we will approach and deal with them promptly.
What are the benefits of studying in the UK?
- They will refine their English skills. During a long-term stay, the student is placed in a normal classroom and interacts with native speakers all day.
- They will be ahead of their peers, and open the door to many opportunities.
- They will get an experience of a lifetime. Not only your child will spend all day with their peers in school but also in their free time. They will have the possibility to explore different sports, clubs, cultural events, trips and other activities.
- They will get to know different cultures and gain a global perspective. Great Britain is a multicultural society and the schools we work with are no exception to that fact. They will have a chance to interact with other students from diverse backgrounds worldwide.
- Lastly, your child will become independent. They will learn and grow into responsible individuals, without having their parents nearby.
Studying abroad is a valuable investment that brings lasting benefits!
How it all works
We follow a clear process to determine the best school placement for each student, ensuring an educational experience tailored to their unique needs:
Introductory meeting
The initial meeting with the student and parents is crucial. We will listen to your expectations and requirements. We will explain and introduce you to options for studying in the UK. The meeting takes place online and we will give you as much time to get to know us and vice versa. It is important to us that both sides gather as much information as possible.
School Placement
Based on your expectations and requirements, we will narrow down and recommend a selection of suitable schools. We primarily select schools that have experience with teaching international students. If you wish, we can arrange a personal tour of the school.
Language training
Generally, a minimum level of English proficiency is expected, typically around an IELTS score of 3 or a CEFR equivalent of B1/B2.
Start with an online English test. I am an official partner of Duolingo English Test (DET). I will help you with registration, preparation, and any questions you may have.
Documents
We will support you with the documents needed to start the application with the school of your choice. We will clearly explain and guide you through the admission process.
Accommodation
We will help with the accommodation preferences. The student can stay either with a host family or board on the school campus.
Communication with the school
During your son or daughters stay in the UK, we will be your representative in direct communication with the school.
Guardianship
If a child under 18 is unaccompanied in the UK, they must have a local guardian during their long-term stay. As a guardian, we act on behalf of the student and represent the parents in conferring with the school and with the authorities. This includes attending parents’ evenings, providing 24/7 contact for emergencies, and helping students settle in.
Transport
If you are interested, we can arrange for your child to be escorted to and from the airport to their school and accommodation locations. We will help them to get familiar with local transportation and organize any necessary transfers. Additionally, we can recommend options for flights and public transport.
Our goal is to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Allowing the student to have the best experience studying abroad while ensuring the parents everything is as it should be.
Nicole’s story

In the 2021/2022 academic year, instead of year 11 in Czech grammar school, I studied at d’Overbroeck’s Oxford International School. The school was recommended to me by my subsequent guardian Zuzana Wilson. It was an excellent decision.
In September, I quickly mastered English. I had the opportunity to speak English with my classmates not only at school, but also in the boarding house, in a twin all girls accommodation. It was a classic British residential house, as you probably know from movies, and I really liked it. There we had our houseparent, a lady who helped us with accommodation and gave us advice when we needed something.
I liked that we focused on our core subjects at school. I liked the teaching method because they explained the whole subject matter carefully and clearly, we had great textbooks, and homework was assigned in such a way that the student would spend a maximum of an hour and a half on it every day.
I liked the city of Oxford because it has a lot of students living there during the academic year. It is very well laid out, so when you go into the city centre you always run into someone you know. The school regularly organised interesting trips, both to London and Stonehenge, shopping in Bicester Village and entertainment in Thorpe Park. It was a shame that we couldn’t go on the planned skiing trip to Canada due to the pandemic.
My guardian, Zuzana Wilson, took exemplary care of me. I stayed at their house for the weekend several times. She also helped me when I had minor health problems and couldn’t be at the boarding house. I liked that she always picked me up at one of the airports in London and also drove me to my departure flight.
My stay in Oxford at d’Overboreck’s was important for me not only to practice my English, but it was a life changing experience in training my independence, which I will definitely remember for the rest of my life.
How do parents see it?
Our daughter Nicol spent the 2021/2022 academic year at d’Overbroeck’s International school in Oxford. In addition to learning about the local education system, she practised her English very well and made new friends from all over the world.
Her guardian Zuzana Wilson was a great support to her during her stay in the UK. Not only did she look after her locally, transporting her to and from London on arrivals and departures, but she also took her to her home several times and introduced her to her family. We are grateful to her for recommending this international school to us because Nicol really enjoyed the entire school year and it was beneficial for her not only in terms of the quality of teaching, but also in terms of English and the opportunity to test out independent life abroad.
Zuzana, thank you.
